Can someone improve on the statement at the bottom of the article (which reads more like some leering innuendo than a factual statement? Maybe Spurgeon was a lesbian. But right now the statement "Spurgeon, Virginia Gildersleeve, Meta Tuke, Lilian Clapham and others enjoyed interweaving intimate relationships and shared their summers" sounds more of accusing a trio of women who were friends and shared vacations of doing (nudge nudge, wink wink) something more than that. And it is badly sourced (one external link that is more chatty than factual?) That edit honestly borders on vandalism. -- llywrch 22:06, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
