[edit] Ratemyprofessor.com

Added the blurb about Ratemyprofessor.com. As this page is almost certainly written by Crocker herself or a member of the Discovery Institute, I felt it necessary to add some context to Crocker's denied renewal. Simply put, not only did she insist on teaching utterly discredited junk science, but also was a bad professor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.174.110.47 (talk) 22:34, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

The entire section I added - that I felt was both necessary and added useful context - was deleted with no discussion whatsoever. I am restoring that section. If you so oppose it please state your reasons. That issue here is wether she was a competent professor and I do feel that the opinions of Crocker's students are needed.

Deleted on the day it was added, I might add.

Ratemyprofessor.com is not a WP:RS (as I stated in my edit summary removing it the first time), so I removed this paragraph based solely on it (and have done so again). HrafnTalkStalk 06:09, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] POV in lead?

The first paragraph of the article suggests that she admits  that what she teaches has been discredited. I think that is going too far, so I am reverting it partially. Bwrs (talk) 04:45, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Agree that isn't something that she admits, and perhaps the fact that it's a creationist claim logically implies that it's discredited. However, she taught claims that other creationists reject as discredited, and we shouldn't be giving "equal validity" to such claims. Don't have a ready answer to improving this point, improvements welcome. As for what PZ said about Hitler's sources, I've made it closer to his statement. Note that TalkOrigins Archive is a reliable source, and other available sources confirm the influences on Hitler. . . dave souza, talk 11:36, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
