[edit] Removing her birth name
Without a proper legal request from a recognised authority (and maybe not even then) there is no reason why her birth name should not be included. Other, similar articles (such as Georgina Spelvin) have the birth name in them, so there is no reason that has been provided so far for removing her birth name. You can take a look at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard if you want to initiate proceedings and get this looked at, but users should not keep removing the name from the article without discussion here. This article is poorly cited. The statements about this person's conduct... and her "real" name (I have no ideal if this IS her real name... the only supporting info online I can find --on Answers... takes its info from THIS article...) are not supported by any links at the bottom of the page. Article is unencyclopaedic. Can you PROVE that is her real name from the sources given? (imdb is written by contributors just as wiki is, but doesnt cite sources, it is therefore possible for me to put your mother's name on a porn star's bio on IMDB if I was dumb/malicious enough to do it - would wiki then stand by it's "truth?"). Just a few thoughts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.137.176.112 (talk • contribs)
I agree with the above paragraph. How can this data be verified? Also, the person with the birthname is being greatly damaged so there is a trickle-down effect. In this case, removing the birth name makes sense. Lot's of data on IMDB is inaccurate. What's the next step for us? I do not want to remove the birth name again until I hear from SGGH... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.155.241.94 (talk • contribs)
I believe this is her real birth name, as I was a classmate of a gal with this birthname who looks alot like Miss Cummmings. Word around town (Auburn, WA, a suburb of Seattle and a LONG way from New England) back in the late 80's also seems to support this, as even back then it was said that Kim had gone into porn under the screen name Carol Cummings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.56.81.101 (talk • contribs)

- I don't think the above counts as a source though. The simple rule is: If it is verifiable from a source, then it goes on because if it isn't on wikipedia you could still get it from that source anyway, so the arguments "she wants to leave her porn life behind" etc. don't really work. If it isn't sourced, then it can be removed. But as I said at the top of this page, always discuss it first :) SGGH speak! 23:17, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Which retard wrote this article? It's terrible.
- Just to way in. If the information that was here previously is going to be removed from here (when it appears to be sourced) than it should probably be removed from the sources like http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0191860/bio (which although I understand isn't the end all or be all of reliable sources) does contain the information and people seem to have not attempted to change it there or the other places where the same bio stuff exists.
