[edit] Requested move
- Carlton and United Breweries → Carlton & United Breweries -- I began writing an article under Carlton & United Beverages but found that there was already an article on this company under Carlton and United Breweries. I wish to move this to Carlton & United Beverages, since this is the current name of the company - see [1]. XmarkX 23:33, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Support - seems like it's the official name. violet/riga (t) 10:01, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)
This article has been renamed as the result of a move request. violet/riga (t) 18:15, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Misc
Changed 1.8 billion litres of crownies to 1.8 million, as the former figure would indicate that the average Australian (20 million) would be consuming 900 litres a year. If only!
[edit] Other products
Fosters Lager?? I'm assuming this is still being brewed in Australia, or have I missed something. Mustard Pot 05:09, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- I read somewhere that Foster's for the American market is brewed by ?Molson's under license. Presumably other countries are supplied by CUB.
- Cascade, Power's Bitter, Kent Old Brown, ... there must be quite a nuber of brands not listed in http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Carlton_%26_United_Beverages&oldid=169347752

- Oh, they sold the rights to "Foster's" brand in Europe, Russia and Asia in 2006. See http://www.fostersgroup.com/mediacentre/7BDD3A2E59BE4EDB9EC3BFDE835A34C9.htm

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:1611 sponsors-37669-.png
Image:1611 sponsors-37669-.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
