[edit] Ahuachpitzactzin
I assume "Carlos Ahuachpitzactzin" is an alternative name for the same guy? --Ptcamn 02:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

- That doesn't seem like a necessarily reasonable assumption? Why would you assume that?·Maunus· ·ƛ· 04:40, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, Carlos Ometochtzin was a son of Nezahualpilli who was burnt at the stake in 1539, and Carlos Ahuachpitzactzin was (according to Codex Chimalpahin) a tlatoani of Texcoco who was burnt at the stake in 1539. (I wasn't aware that he was a tlatoani when I created this article, only that he was a noble, but some google hits refer to Ometochtzin as a cacique.) --Ptcamn 05:13, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Aha — this site has "Ahauachpitzactzin, known in his maturity as don Carlos Ometochtzin Chichimecatecuhtli". --Ptcamn 05:15, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- ok, that makes sense. His name probably was Ahuapitzactli, his birtday Ome Tochtli, and Chichimecatecutli is a title used for the king of Texcoco.·Maunus· ·ƛ· 09:32, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
