Article Grading:

I ignore what is the correct, if Carles or Carlos, if Moya, Moyà or Moyá, but the names (and less the surnames) are translated to one language to the other. To say that the name is Moyá in Spanish and Moyà in Catalan isn't consistent. Llull 13:51, 24 Jun 2004 (UTC)

How is this inconsistent? It seems to be a fact it is Moyà in Catalan. What is not a fact is how you spell it in Spanish, with an accent or not. --Cantus 23:56, 24 Jun 2004 (UTC)
In the article there are two versions, Moyá and Moyà. Only one of them can be the correct form. The surnames are never translated. And the name only in special cases like kings and popes. This isn't one of this cases. I have a Catalan and a Spanish surname, two both can be translated but always are used equal everywhere. The translation of the names and surnames is considered offensive. One of the forms must be deleted. Llull 21:20, 25 Jun 2004 (UTC)

I cannot speak Spanish, much less Catalan so I need to be clarified. I thought that in Moyà or Moyá, there exists only a difference between Catalan and Castilian accent orthography, but not the meaning, and that even the accent on the second syllable is the same and therefore there is no offensive translation. My other question: is there another Spanish surname Moya where it is the first syllable is accented?--Vipaleonar 20:23, 20 September 2005 (UTC)

Her real name is Carlos Moyà, is mallorquin and her family is of Mallorca, the last name not translate.
