I'm still interviewing the old jiu jitsu black belts in an attempt to capture much of this undocumented history before its all lost. Before jiu jitsu got popular in recent years, many of the earlier BJJ tournaments and and vale tudo fights went undocumented on the net. Some of it only exists in portuguese on a few brazilian web sites :(


In response to the advertisement warning - please explain what part is seen as an advertisement or promoting? Carlos no longer teaches in the USA, I dont know what his whereabouts are and there are no links to any of his schools or services. Im attempting to document the rare list of Mario Sperry BJJ black belts and bits of their history and the Carlson Gracie lineage.
