[edit] "Swiss architecture"

If Carlo Maderno was a "Swiss architect" as naively insisted upon, the "Swissness" of his architecture needs to be discussed. We await enlightenment from User:Cate. --Wetman 19:28, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

(Note: This is my first change about "swissness"). Your version was: Italian architect, born in Ticino (now part of Switzerland), which is not correct. The now implied that Ticino was not in Switzerland in 16 century. So I corrected in a formal way. But I wrote in changelog that nationality was not important in that epoch, so IMHO we could remove the "Swiss" (and "Italian"). Maybe you can enlight me what relation has nationality with architecture style. Cate 19:59, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
