Is the platform at Rose Hill really sixteen cars long? It seems unlikely because CityRail doesn't usually operate Electric Multiple Unit rolling stock longer than 8 cars... Techelf 10:09, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Carlo line

I use the Carlingford line twice a week, and since they upgraded the track between Carlingford and Telopea the ride is much smoother but after Telopea it seems as tho the track moves under the train due to the age of the wooden sleepers, while cornering the train bumps around heaps and it feels unsafe, even in the Millennium train. I even submitted ideas to connect the existing Carlingford To Epping by tunnelling at the end of the line where the un-used track remains from the old days and going to epping from there. But then i remembered that the parramatta road crossing holds up traffic, So then i said to city rail How about tunnelling from granville or parramatta going under parramatta road then re surfacing just before rosehill. If you support my idea you should let city rail know thats its a good idea that will keep the heritage of the line in mind. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tezza27 (talk • contribs) 15:07, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
