The Albert Einstein article mentions that "At the same time, Einstein's anarchist nephew Carl Einstein, who shared many of his views, was fighting the fascists in the Spanish Civil War."

This article never mentions Albert Einstein. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Frap (talkcontribs) 10:53, October 8, 2006 (UTC)

Carl Einstein and Albert Einstein were not related. This is a strange myth that has circulated around for a while. Anyway, it would be physically impossible for Carl Einstein (born 1885) to be Albert's nephew. (if I remember correctly Albert was the first born child). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Baruchespinoza (talkcontribs) 22:00, November 11, 2006 (UTC)

While it is true they shared some ideas, no, they were not related. Not that uncommon of a name really. anon apr. 3 07 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.229.203.46 (talkcontribs) 22:20, April 3, 2007 (UTC)
