[edit] Disambiguation Correction
This disambiguation page has about 150 links, almost exclusively from driver- and race-related topics. (See the report, here.) That makes navigating the site inconvenient for those following links from such topics.
To remedy the situation, I'm proposing to redirect CART to Champ Car, then add a line to the top of the Champ Car topic explaining that CART redirects here. CART may also reference the Center for Advanced Research and Technology.. This idea was proposed at Wikipedia talk:Disambiguation pages with links, and will save us having to clean up the 150 links from the racing topics to point at Champ Car instead of CART.
I'd like to do this sometime next week. Please let me know if you have any concerns. --Mikeblas 13:51, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Support School's page doesn't have really any incoming links as it is (just a few CART pages and one image). I don't see why 150 links have to go to a disambig page for a couple of links to this high school. Metros232 13:56, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

I have made it so. -- Mikeblas 17:39, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
GBow5054 May 19 2007 I changed it because the item it is linked to know is just "Championship Car" and the Center for Advanced Research and Technology fits the name CART and would be more helpful to users who are looking for it. Also Center for Advanced Research and Technology is always called CART nobody uses the full name. And since the school is the only of its kind in the world then it is hard to find info on it, so this servers the propose better! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Archer5054 (talk • contribs)
- I disagree, because of the link situation. Further discussion is warranted before any changes are made. I am reverting to the prior redirection to Champ Car, to preserve the linking issue with all of the racing articles. —C.Fred (talk) 21:26, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, CART is demonstrably a far more commonly a reference to "Championship Car" than it is for the technology center. -- Mikeblas 03:24, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
