Although this image, Carved lions cover.jpg, is subject to copyright, I (Sanjay Tiwari 13:01, 24 September 2006 (UTC)) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. it is a low resolution copy of a book cover;
2. the author of the book, Mary Louisa Molesworth, died over 100 years ago
3. the book is out of print
4. it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the cover art in any way;
5. copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the cover artwork;
6. the image on the cover is significant because it was made by a famous artist, Lewis Hart.
