Seated statue of Carolus Linnaeus, by sculptor Johan Niclas Byström, photographed in the hallway of Carolina Rediviva (Uppsala University). The statue has since been moved back to its original place in the Linnaeanum building in the Uppsala Botanical Garden.
In accordance with the fashion of the early 19th century, it shows Linnaeus without the periwig that he wears in most contemporary portraits.
