Cary Fowler

Cary Fowler (born 1949) is the executive director of the Global Crop Diversity Trust, based in Rome. Previously, Fowler was Professor and Director of Research in the Department for International Environment & Development Studies at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Fowler received the Right Livelihood Award with Pat Mooney in 1985 for his work in agriculture and the preservation of biodiversity.
