Carugate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 15 km northeast of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,479 and an area of 5.4 km².[1]
Carugate borders the following municipalities: Agrate Brianza, Caponago, Brugherio, Pessano con Bornago, Bussero, Cernusco sul Naviglio.
