Carter Community Sports College is a mixd 12-16 secondary school in Hamworthy, Poole, Dorset The school serves the Hamworthy and Turlin Moor areas and pupils are taken from Hamorthy and Turlin Moor Middle Schools.

The school opened in 1950 as Herbert Carter Secondary School which was named after Alderman Herbert of Carter's tiles which where based in Hamworthy. The school was the first secondary school to be built after the second world war in Poole and was a typical school of the time.

The school has had some extensions added in recent years such as the sports hall in 2003. The school became a sports college in September 2003 and is one of two sports colleges in Poole, the other being Rossmore Community College
