Carson Yeung Ka-Shing (Chinese:楊家誠) is a billionaire businessman from Hong Kong. Yeung owns Hong Kong First Division outfit Hong Kong Rangers. He is currently in takeover talks for Birmingham City.
He used to own part of the Macau casino chain Greek Mythology. He has reportedly failed takeover bids for Reading and Sheffield Wednesday.
[edit] Birmingham City takeover bid
Carson Yeung failed to deliver the money for the takeover by the deadline of 30th November 2007 and as a result the takeover bid fell through. He was responsible for the club's U-Turn on the contract extension offered to manager Steve Bruce in May 2007, which ultimately led to Bruce's decision to resign from the club and move to Wigan Athletic F.C. in November 2007.[citation needed]
