Carson is a station on Metro's Harbor Transitway. The station is a side platform accessed from the Carson offramp on the side of Interstate 110, the Harbor Freeway at its undercrossing of Carson Street. The entrance to the station is provided by stairs and elevators over the freeway on Carson Street. This station has a 140 space park and ride lot and is one of two that are outside of a dedicated transitway, but the station has its own lane. North of this station transitway services exit or enter the I-110 at the entrance and exit near Torrance Boulevard and then continue on Figueroa Street to the Artesia Transit Center.
