Carroll Street is a station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway, located in the neighborhood of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, at Carroll and Smith Streets.
This station has two side platforms and four tracks. At the station's north end, the express tracks are between but below the local tracks, having traveled from the abandoned lower level of Bergen Street station. At the south end, they rise up to the same level as the local tracks. South of the station, all four tracks ascend onto the only original IND elevated structure on their way to Smith-Ninth Streets.
There is a crossover at the south end of the station near Second Place.
