Carroll & Graf Publishers

Carroll & Graf Publishers was an American publishing company centered in New York City, and an imprint of the Avalon Publishing Group. The company was founded in 1982 and last headquartered on West 17th Street in New York, New York. It offered a range of fiction and non-fiction, including history, biography, current affairs, and mysteries.[1] The company was purchased by the Perseus Book Group, and no longer publishes books under its name.
Notable authors included Joseph C. Wilson, Susan McDougal, Roméo Dallaire, Kenneth Ackerman, David Pietrusza, Joyce Carol Oates, Samuel R. Delany, and Amanda Filipacchi. Editors-in-chief of Carroll & Graf included Philip Turner and Bill Strachan.
