Carrie Walker

Carrie Walker is Canadian artist, based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Walker's fellow Vancouverite, and author of the bestselling novel Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture, Douglas Coupland, brought her some of her first public acclaim, a full-colour spread in the city's main newspaper, The Vancouver Sun, of her self-published comics. Walker has a done a vast array of pen and ink drawings of animals, which have been exhibited across North America. Carrie Walker is the sister of Ian Walker who has also delved into the Canadian and international arts scenes as writer, musician, and actor.

These Walkers are the great niece and nephew of the late Vivian Walker, a prolific painter of the Eastern Canadian landscape.
