Carrick on Suir railway station

Carrick on Suir railway station, opened on 15 April 1853[1], serves the town of Carrick on Suir in County Tipperary, Republic of Ireland. It is the base for the Irish Traction Group. The station consists of two platforms, one of which is served by a passing loop. There is also a siding, used by the Irish Traction Group to store preserved diesel locomotives.
