Carrù is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km south of Turin and about 30 km northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,161 and an area of 26.0 km².[1]

The municipality of Carrù contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Giovanni, Frave, Bordino, S.Anna, Ronchi, and Marenchi.

Carrù borders the following municipalities: Bastia Mondovì, Bene Vagienna, Clavesana, Farigliano, Magliano Alpi, Mondovì, and Piozzo. In Carru' was also born Luigi Einaudi the first president of the "republic of Italy" and before it saw the passage of the troops of Napoleone Bonaparte during the campaign of Italy.

Carru' is also famous for the "Sagra dell'uva" (the fair of the grape)which takes place in the end of September with dances and spectacles,and for "La fiera del bue grasso" (the fair of the fat bull) which is famous in all the North Italy for the deliciousness of the meat.
