Caroline Pileggi

Caroline Pileggi (born 1977) is an Australian weightlifter. She competed in the Commonwealth Games and the 2000 Summer Olympics of Sydney, Australia.
Pileggi was accused of drugs just before the 2004 Summer Olympics of Athens and was excluded from the Australian Olympia team immediately. In her hearing at Melbourne's Supreme Court, she should have been supported by testimonials of Nauruan weightlifter Quincy Detenamo, but he faced an accusation of murder at the time. Pileggi has been blocked from professional weightlifting for several years.
Pileggi is now living in Perth, Western Australia, until her ban from weightlifting expires.
