Caroline Pickering Puamau

Caroline Pickering Puamau, born in 1980 or 1981, is a Fiji Islander swimmer.

Puamau represented Fiji at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney[1], and at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester[2].

She also competed in the 2003 Pacific Games in Suva, winning two gold medals, three silver and one bronze[3], and in the 2007 Pacific Games in Apia, where she won two gold medals, three silver and two bronze.[4] She lit the cauldron during the opening ceremony at the 2003 Games.[5]

Puamau declined to take part in the qualifiers for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, stating: "Right now I'm into coaching."[6]
