Caroline Paige

Flight Lieutenant Caroline Paige (born Eric Cookson in 1961) is the first officer in the Royal Air Force to have a sex change. As a man, he served in the cold war intercepting Soviet bomber planes, and was involved in the Gulf War and Bosnia Conflict.[1]

Caroline Paige is still serving in the RAF today as a female officer.[2]
