Caroline Chisholm School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Caroline Chisholm School is an all-through 4-18 primary and secondary school, located in Northampton, England that opened in September 2004. The school is named after Caroline Chisholm, a 19th century social reformer.[1] The principal is Tony Downing.[2]

It is a newly built school that took 15 months to construct and cost £25 million.[2] When the school adds its final year (Year 13 starting September 2008), it will have 1700 students.[3]

In July 2005 the admission arrangements were varied to ensure that brothers and sisters of children at the school would have greater priority for places.[4]
