Carolina Eva Izsák Keményfy is a beauty queen from Venezuela who has competed at the Miss Universe pageant.

Izsák was born in Caracas - Venezuela to a family originating from Hungary. She was crowned Miss Venezuela 1991 representing the state of Amazonas. She represented her country in the Miss Universe 1992 pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand in May 1992, and is considered by many pageant watchers as the 'should-have-been-winner' of that edition.

In that pageant Izsák won all three preliminary competitions. Her combined score of 9.477 was the highest shown preliminary score in the pageant's history. Her nearest rival was Michelle McLean of the African nation of Namibia, coming in at second place with 9.147. Incidentally, McLean and two other semi-finalists, Lisa de Montalk of New Zealand and Anke van Dermeersch of Belgium competed at the 1991 Miss World pageant a few months back wherein de Montalk and McLean both made the cut while van Dermeersch did not place. This contest was ultimately won by Izsák's runner-up in the Miss Venezuela pageant: Ninibeth Leal.

During the semi-finals, Izsák won the swimsuit and evening gown competition, and came second in interview. Then the ten semi-finalist were narrowed to six finalists who competed in a final interview round. In this round of competition, Izsák's question was: "What would you like to know about your future and why". She gave an adequate answer in which she stated that she did not want to know anything about her future even though she does project her life and tries to live every day as if it were her last. The jury did not find this answer solid enough to make the top three, and Izsák finished up in fourth place. Her sudden and somewhat unexpected cut from the competition, startled pageant watchers around the world. The 1992 Miss Universe crown was ultimately won by Michelle McLean, who became the first woman from Namibia to capture the title.

Carolina Izsák returned to Venezuela, where she completed her studies in architecture and eventually got married. She lives a life away from the spotlights, is a mother and currently resides in the USA.
