Carolina Herrera is a Colombian singer and guitarist, living in London.
Carolina is a fully qualified doctor in Colombia. She is currently studying medicine in London[1].
She studied music at Goldsmith College. A chance happening upon an advertisement seeking buskers to perform legally on the London Underground transit system saw Carolina auditioning. It was during one of her busking sessions in early 2004, that she was heard by the respected music aficionado and BBC presenter Charlie Gillett, who invited her to perform live on his radio show, which also transmitted worldwide via the BBC World Service. During the intervening years, Carolina Herrera has performed at numerous venues including the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Ronnie Scott's. Momo's, WOMAD festival, Wexford Opera Festival, Cork Jazz Festival and many other places, venues and festivals in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
Carolina's repertoire is drawn from different countries such as Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela, the U.S., England and of course, Colombia.
