Carolina 500 (ARCA Race)

The Carolina 500 is an ARCA RE/MAX Series race that takes place at Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina. The inaugural race was May 4, 2008 and was the first major event at Rockingham since Andy Hillenburg bought the track on October 2, 2007.

The inaugural race featured Tony Stewart as the honorary starter, Greg Zipadelli as the pace car driver and appearances by Ricky Rudd, Bobby Allison, Donnie Allison and others.
