Carol Kuhlthau

Carol Kuhlthau is a researcher who focuses on the user’s perspective of the information search process. She is a past professor in the Department of Library Information Science, School of Communication, Information and Library Studies at Rutgers University. Kuhlthau received her doctorate from the Rutgers University, School of Education. Her master’s degree was earned from the Rutgers University in Library and Information Science and her bachelor’s degree from Kean College.
