[edit] Refurbishments
[edit] 2004/2005 General Refurbishment
The Carnival Inspiration had her first refurbishment completed in January of 2005.
[edit] 2007 Evolutions of Fun Upgrade
As of November, 2007 the Evolutions of Fun refurbishments have been completed onboard the FunShip Carnival Inspiration. The enhancements made to the ship include completely redesigned interior decor, newly refurbished showlounges, bars and public spaces. All staterooms have been outfitted with the Carnival Comfort Bed system and have received upgrades in the bathroom, with porcelain sinks. In addition every stateroom has a new interior color scheme and flat screen TVs. Most notably are the additions that have been made to the Lido deck. The Lido restaurant has received a complete cosmetic renovation and new furnishings. The Lido deck itsself has also received a complete re-design. The slide has been removed (don't worry it was replaced, more on that) and provides more walking space on the starboard side of the ship. In addition, spiral staircases were added, mid-deck for passengers to descend from the sun-deck. The pools were thoroughly cleaned and redesigned with faux palm tree coverings over several bench areas. The whirlpools have also received new tiling and palm tree canopies. The performance stage received a new cover. The largest change is located on the Sun deck, aft. This area, once host to a small basketball court and a cheesy pool that felt out of place with large uninhabited deck areas, is now host to Carnival Waterworks. This multimillion dollar play area leaves little to be desired. With a 4 deck high spiral waterslide and an adjacent 82' racing slide, as well as play areas featuring geysers and other various water play instruments, this area is truly unlike anything else on the 7 seas! Another addition is the Serenity Adult area also located on top, this area invites older guests to relax while listening to their MP3 player, while their waiter serves them ice cold drinks. Or relax in 1 of two new whirlpools. The epitome of what vacation should be.
