Carnival Films
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Carnival Films is a British television production company, founded by Brian Eastman in 1978 as Picture Partnership Productions Limited. The company swiftly built up a strong reputation as an independent production company. It has produced series such as Jeeves and Wooster, Poirot, BUGS, Anna Lee, As If and Traffik. The company was also responsible for Richard Attenborough's critically acclaimed feature film Shadowlands starring Anthony Hopkins. Its offices are now situated in Ladbroke Grove, where it continues to produce less critically acclaimed but popular drama series such as Hotel Babylon (BBC One) and Rosemary & Thyme (ITV). In 2007 the company took over production of the supernatural drama series Sea of Souls, which had previously been an in-house BBC Scotland production.
