"Carmilla" is the fourth single by Japanese vocalist Kaya. The single's A-side, composed by Hizaki, provides a romantic gothic/trance sound while the B-side is a live orchestral version of "Silvery Dark" (a track taken from Kaya's first album Glitter). The first pressing of "Carmilla" includes a DVD "Digest" extra featuring a live recording of "Kugutsu" from 百鬼夜行.
The world premier of "Carmilla" took place on the Tainted Reality internet radio show October 23, 2007.
