Carmen Salvatore Cali (born on November 2, 1978 in Cleveland, Ohio) is a Major League relief pitcher for the Minnesota Twins. Cali graduated in 1997 from Naples (Fla.) High School after lettering and starring four years in both football and baseball. He went on to graduate, and letter in baseball, at Florida Atlantic University.
He made his major league debut with the St. Louis Cardinals on September 8, 2004.
In 2005, Cali spent most of his time with Triple-A Memphis Redbirds, and only played in a few games with the Cardinals that season. He spent the whole 2006 season in the minors and went on to sign a minor league deal with the Minnesota Twins on December 7, 2006.
Cali is the cousin of Euclid legend Jim Doganiero.
