'Carmel Convent School is located in Giridih, Jharkhand, India. It was established in the year 1954 and is affiliated to ICSE board, New Delhi. The school boasts of an auditorium and a big stage for cultural activities. It has facilities for various sports activities like basketball, football, volleyball and cricket. The school buildings are well maintained and the labs and classrooms are well equipped with laboratory equipments and teaching aids.

Since its establishment, it has played a pivotal role in searching and grooming talents present in this small town. It has maintained its high standard which gets reflected in class Xth results every year.

Till date it remains the best school in the small town of giridih with its students virually bagging every prize in the district level meets.^{[citation needed]}
