Carmel Catholic High School

Carmel Catholic High School is a four-year Catholic high school in Mundelein, Illinois, USA.

The school is jointly sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Order of Carmelites. Initially, separate schools were established for boys 91962) and girls (1963), which were combined in 1988.[1]

During the 1984-85, 1994-96, 2001-02 and 2007-08 school years, Carmel Catholic High School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education[2], the highest award an American school can receive.[3][4]

As of 2007, the school was one of only five schools nationwide to be honored as a Blue Ribbon School on four separate occasions.[5]
