Carmel & District Cricket Club

Carmel & District Cricket Club is a cricket team from North Wales.
The club's First XI plays in North Wales Cricket League Division Two and the Second XI plays in Division Five.
Carmel have also played three national cricket teams following a tour in 2007 under the captaincy of Timothy Abraham: they played Estonia, Russia and Latvia as well as competing in the Helsinki Sixes.[1]
Carmel defeated Estonia in the final of the Helsinki Sixes but lost twice in longer matches played in Tallinn.
Carmel was comprehensively beaten by the national team of Russia in the Russian National Basbeball Stadium in Moscow but managed to record a win over Latvia in Riga.[1]
Carmel are hosting an international European Twenty20 competition in the summer of 2008.
