Carlucci American International School of Lisbon

CAISL is a K-12 American international day school, named after its founder Ben Carlucci, located in Sintra, Portugal. It has offered the International Baccalaureate program since May 1998.

CAISL, as it is also known, has approximately 500 students including elementary, middle and high school. In 2000 the school moved from Lisbon (high school and middle school) and Monte Estoril (elementary school) to Linhó (Sintra), expanding the school campus and the classrooms for a better accommodation of its alumnis. In 2006 the school completed its 50th anniversary

During the 25 of October to the 29, the male and female soccer and volleyball juniors go to Tunisia for an international competition.

In the end of November, the school hosts the IMUN (Iberian Model United Nations) Conference, this year, it's supposed to be one of the biggest events ever, including more than 30 international schools being invited for this especial weekend which is located in Torre de Belém cultural center (Lisbon) where the students will be allowed to have a real experience of the UN Security Council and some other UN events.
