Carlos Valderrama (baseball player)

Carlos Alberto Valderrama [val-der-RAH-ma] (born November 30, 1977 in Bachaquero, Zulia State, Venezuela) was a Major League Baseball outfielder and right-handed batter who played in seven games for the San Francisco Giants in 2003.
During his brief time with the big club, Valderrama had one single in seven at bats, one stolen base, and fielded six chances flawlessly.
An outfield prospect, Valderrama has been hampered by injuries throughout career, having played in more than 50 games just six times.
He is a career .291 hitter with 49 home runs, 291 RBI, 402 runs and 201 stolen bases in 667 games.
