Carlos David Ruiz (born November 10, 1971 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine football defender who currently plays for Arsenal de Sarandí.

Ruiz started his professional career with Racing Club de Avellaneda in 1992, in 1993 he joined Arsenal de Sarandí, where he has played ever since, making him one of the clubs longest serving players of all time. One of the highlights of his time at Arsenal was the promotion to the Argentine Primera in 2002. Ruiz has made 398 appearances for Arsenal as of 24 May 2008, making him the most capped player in the clubs history.
