Carlos José Tamara Paternina (born March 15, 1983 in Sincelejo) is a boxer from Colombia, who participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native country.
In 2003 he won the silver medal at the Pan American Games.
At the Olympics he defeated Redouane Bouchtouk but was defeated in the second round by Italy's Alfonso Pinto in the Light Flyweight (48 kg) division.
