Carlos Hines (born September 26, 1980 in Smithfield, North Carolina) is a pitcher in the Houston Astros organization. He was taken in the 24th round of the 1999 draft by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and traded to the Giants on April 28, 2006 for relief pitcher Tyler Walker. He played for the Giants Triple A affiliate, the Fresno Grizzlies in 2007. On January 9, 2008, Hines signed a minor league contract with an invite to Spring Training with the Houston Astros.
