Carlos Andres Diogo Enceñat (born July 18, 1983 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan football player, who currently plays for Real Zaragoza in La Liga.

The son of one of the best Uruguayan soccer players, also named Carlos Diogo, who also played in Peñarol, and several Brazilian soccer clubs, he was previously with River Plate (of Uruguay, 1999-03), Peñarol (2003-04) and River Plate (of Argentina, 2004-05).

In the summer of 2005, Diogo signed with Spain's Real Madrid, with first team opportunities being scarce. On 23 August 2006, the rumours of Diogo leaving Madrid came true when Real decided to send him out on loan to the highly interested Real Zaragoza, for an undisclosed fee. On August 2007, the move was made permanent, but Madrid agreed to take just €3 million instead of the initial 4, inserting a clause in his contract that enabled a total refund of the money, were a top class team to bid for his services.

On January 6, 2007, he had a fight with player Luís Fabiano of Sevilla FC, after apparently stepping on the Brazilian's hand and insulting him, which led to Fabiano putting Diogo in a strangle-hold in the closing stages of the game. This incident was punished with a five-game ban to both players.[1]

He played for Uruguay in Copa América 2007.
