Carlos Cardinal Amigo Vallejo, O.F.M. (born 23 August 1934) is a Cardinal Priest and Archbishop of Seville in the Roman Catholic Church.
Born in Medina de Rioseco, Spain, Amigo Vallejo studied medicine in Valladolid before joining the Franciscan order, later studying philosophy in Rome and psychology in Madrid.
Ordained a priest in 1960, he became Archbishop of Tanger (Morocco) in 1973 and then became Archbishop of Seville in 1982. Amigo Vallejo was made Cardinal by Pope John Paul II in the consistory of 21 October 2003 and holds the title of Cardinal Priest of St. Mary of Montserrat of the Spanish.
