Carlos Boix was born in June, 1949, in Havana, Cuba. He develops different art forms like drawing, painting, ceramics, engraving and graphic design. He doesn't have any academic education, therefore he is considered as a self-taught artist. He worked as a sketcher of newspaper Juventud Rebelde, Havana, Cuba. He resides in Europe (Paris, Stockholm, Geneva).
