Carlo Perosi

Carlo Cardinal Perosi (Tortona December 18, 1868 – Rome February 22, 1930), brother of Don Lorenzo Perosi and of Marziano Perosi. Italian cardinal.
He was ordained a priest in Tortona on November 8, 1891. On June 21, 1926, he was elevated to cardinal and appointed Cardinal-Deacon of S. Eustachio. Two years later he became Secretary of Sacred Consistorial Congregation and was appointed to the Roman Curia.
