Carlo Luigi Morichini

Carlo Luigi Morichini (1805-1879) was an Italian Cardinal.
In 1845 he became Apostolic Nuncio to Germany, and titular archbishop of Nisibis. In 1848 he was sent on a diplomatic mission to mediate between Austro-Hungary and Piedmont.
He was created Cardinal in 1852, and became bishop of Jesi. He became archbishop of Bologna in 1871[1], and bishop of Albano in 1877.
