Carlo Imperato

Carlo Imperato (born August 3, 1963 in Bronx, New York) is an American actor, best known for his role as Danny Amatullo in the 1982 Fame TV series. His real name is Richard Anthony Imperato, but he had to change it to Carlo when he was trying to get his SAG card when he began acting. Carlo is his godfather's name.

On the theatrical stage, he appeared in the Broadway musical Working. Also in 1978, he appeared on Broadway as A.J. in "Runaways" (written by Elizbeth Swados, produced by the late Joseph Papp). The production won Tony Awards in 1978 for Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Choreography.
