Carl von Gontard

Carl von Gontard (born January 13, 1731 in Mannheim; died September 23, 1791 in Wrocław) was a German architect; he worked primarily in Berlin, Potsdam, and Bayreuth.

He modified the original Deutscher Dom and Französischer Dom cathedrals in Berlin and added the domed towers.
